Denise Hoffman is a seasoned mental health professional, holding dual licenses as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University, establishing a solid foundation for her dedicated career in the field.
With over two decades of experience, Denise has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the well-being of her clients. Her empathetic and compassionate demeanor creates a safe space, enabling individuals to openly share their deepest struggles and concerns. Denise's extensive background in mental health includes more than 20 years of service specializing in outpatient settings. In her most recent role, she provided invaluable support through compassionate hospice care, aiding patients and their families during times of loss.
Beyond her professional roles, Denise actively contributes to her community as a dedicated pastoral counselor. She is also a trained Star Behavioral Health Provider, extending her expertise to support fellow veterans. Denise's passion lies in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges related to childhood issues, depression, anxiety, relationships, abandonment, divorce, and bereavement.
As a Christian counselor, Denise integrates a Biblical-based approach into her practice, offering Christ-centered therapy to those seeking a faith-oriented therapeutic experience. Her overarching goal is to assist people in rebuilding the quality of their lives, fostering strength development, and achieving their personal goals.
