Miriam May is a License Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion to help people have hope and gain the skills they need to live a fulfilled life! She graduated from Central Michigan University with her Bachelor's degree in 2001 and returned to school to earn her Master's Degree in Counseling from Oakland University after discovering her passion for wanting to help her students through their life challenges while working in the public school setting. Prior to becoming a counselor, Miriam was a middle school and high school band director. Since earning her degree, she has served as a school counselor helping youth with social, emotional and life challenges. Miriam has a Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Person-Centered approach to therapy and clients of all ages find her welcoming and easy to talk to.
