I am a Master of Social Work clinical intern. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Northern Michigan University, and I am completing my current MSW program at Wayne State University.

I have experience as a mental health assistant working with children in the community to develop pro-social skills, foster independence, strengthen communication skills, and build their confidence. I have also worked with teens through an independent living skills course, creating a supportive environment as they transition into adulthood to develop skills they may not have previously had the opportunity to learn. This experience has allowed me to develop skills in a supportive role to encourage healthy communication and build on strengths individuals already have within them. While I enjoy working with children and families, I am also hoping to engage with individuals across all ages and backgrounds. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, relationships, emotional regulation, trauma-informed care, and developing skills in play therapy.

Under the supervision of an LMSW, I am developing my skills in clinical practice. I appreciate the collaborative aspect of therapy with clients and value meeting individuals where they are. I am passionate about creating a space for someone to feel comfortable, heard, and supported as they work toward their goals.
