Sara Moceri, a Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC), received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Arts in Counseling at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. In this counseling program, she pursued specialized study in both the concentrations of Christian counseling and crisis and trauma counseling. She enjoys helping restore hope to youth and adults struggling with a variety of difficulties like anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, personality disorders, grief, transitional stress, and relational conflicts.
With experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness techniques, Sara seeks to meet each of her clients with an open, compassionate heart. She is ready to listen to the struggles and joys each of her clients face, desiring to help them become more authentically themselves. For clients open to using faith-based approaches, Sara will implement these into counseling. She is ready to walk alongside each of her clients through the parts of their lives where they have felt stuck in despair or fear and guide them toward new freedom, peace, and joy.
