Belinda Golder, a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University and a master’s degree from a CACREP accredited program at Liberty University. The master’s in education opened the door for her to intern within the public schools. Her studies and training in counseling permitted her to move beyond those doors. She interned as a counselor in an elementary school and also a middle and high school. During her practicum, she assisted college students and older adults seeking aid with social and emotional wellness through the Listening Oasis Wellness Space (L.O.W.S). Her experience also includes counseling a full range of clients from various age groups in person, and or virtually while working at a non-profit.
Belinda has served as military spouse assisting spouses in Family Readiness Groups (FRG), volunteer work with the Salvation Army, taught Sunday school and have facilitated a couple of Women's Bible Studies. She has also worked for the federal government and has worked as a stay at home mom.
